I have a lot of things to discover about using my graphics tablet but here are two panels of a story I'm working on inked completely in Illustrator over a scanned pencil original. I'm not getting the most dramatic use of the pressure sensitivity of the brushes, but then I don't want too much variation in line.

And for my next trick, I'll help Tutu with his essay-writing practice, have dinner and then go off and fool around with my sweet friend Tommy whom I haven't seen in a while. G'night.

That is freaking awesome! What is your graphics tablet called again, and how can I get one?

If I have one of those, I will have no excuse to get my art online.

Also...can you hook it up to your computer, save work as JPG, and download it to your hard drive to distribute through cyberspace?

It is a Wacom Intuos2 4X5 graphics tablet. You can get it at your well-stocked computer dealer. It is good for both Windows and Mac (I'm on Mac). Yes, it is ONLY for hooking to your computer. You need to draw with it in some arty program like Photoshop, Painter or Illustrator. It comes bundled with Photoshop Elements (I think, I have check again) and a cheapo paint program. You can save your work as jpeg (or gif as above) and publish to the net.

I'm gonna have to get me one of those...or something similar. Will look out for it next week during all the post-holiday sales.
