I wasn't lying, we did dye eggs. We dyed them with onion skins. Next year we will use other natural dyes including spinach and beets.

Further in the fertility vein, I made the second annual donation of corgi hair to the sparrows who live around our house. I brushed Klondike well, put the clump of hair in our privet hedge and watched from the living room. The sparrows quickly discovered the cache and made short work of collecting the hairs and using them to build nests around the neighbourhood. Soon, baby sparrows will be warmed by Welsh Bestâ„¢!
