I wasn't lying, we did dye eggs. We dyed them with onion skins. Next year we will use other natural dyes including spinach and beets.

Here are the finished beauties, lying on the bed of onion skins:

Further in the fertility vein, I made the second annual donation of corgi hair to the sparrows who live around our house. I brushed Klondike well, put the clump of hair in our privet hedge and watched from the living room. The sparrows quickly discovered the cache and made short work of collecting the hairs and using them to build nests around the neighbourhood. Soon, baby sparrows will be warmed by Welsh Bestâ„¢!

As another creature that contains eggs, I approve of your BOWING DOWN BEFORE THE ALTER fertility-honoring activites. May the Goddess be with you.

You might want to alter the spelling of "altar", hon.

The Goddess cares about grammar!

We just watched the National Geographic special, In the Womb. Did you know that when you were born, you were already carrying all your eggs?

Also, did you know that that the sperm is the body's smallest cell and the egg it's largest?
