And greetings from Cappodocia.

Today we did not buy a Turkish rug for $3,000. Now we are going to consume all the lamb, Rakki and belly dancing we can.

Thank you for your contributions to the poll. I chose, placed the selection in the outside pocket of our big suitcase... and there it remains despite the fact that we repacked into two smaller bags at the last second before departing.

Nothing matters. Unlimited lamb and belly dancing awaits.

Turkish guys are insanely cute. Also, they hold hands or hang on each other's arms as they walk around. Unfortunately, this is a very uncomfortable country when it comes gays. We will investigate gay Istanbul later this week.

I think the rug was totally worth the price but we really couldn't afford it so I'm glad we didn't try.
