talktoolooseI just realized that I now have seven input and control devices for my computer: one-button Apple mouse, two-button with scrollwheel mouse, trackball, wacom tablet with pen, headset microphone used in conjunction with dictation software, typing keyboard, music keyboard.
Today is the day I would have to return my mic/phones headset if I wanted a refund. Unfortunately, it will take more time to determine if I can really work effectively with the dictation software. The $80 the headset cost hangs heavily on my guilt-ridden soul but I can't do much about this because I can't really guess if I'll be dictating happily away in a few months. Justifications arise: they're pretty good headphones regardless. I can do voip with the headset if I had anyone to voip with. There is a restocking fee if I return the headset, therefore I wouldn't really be getting back $80. I have no time to return them today.
End of story.

Date: 2006-04-23 03:12 am (UTC)I use skype, it's awesome. I just spent almost ALL day corridinating iChat to pick up MSN Yahoo and so on. But skype rules them all.
Geek out. I'm gonna try iListen myself.
