talktoolooseWe are off to Algonquin tomorrow morning and I will be off the Internet for a week. Keep it warm for me, folks.
I am sacrificing half a day of pay today and clearing out of the office at around 1 p.m. I am feeling dragged down and exhausted and I still have shit to do before we leave town. So, I'll head home, sleep a bit then finish inking the cover of the book (it's almost done) and email it off to the editor. Then I'll be ready to help pack. I've booked the car, the canoe, the site and checked the weather which, at this point, looks to be cool but not too rainy.
At this stage, the knowledge that I'll be happy and relaxed camping is purely an academic construct. Everything is filling me with dread.
