Retail Help, Consumers!

I bought a pair of shoes on final sale last week. The bill clearly says, "No refunds, exchanges only". So, I brought them back saying, "Hi, I don't want these. I know you can't give me cash, so I'll buy some shirts or pants here instead." "No way, fucker," they said. "It's a final sale!"

That's bullshit, no? It should say, "No refund or exchanges" if that's what they mean. I went a little ballistic in the store (*I'm a bit of ashamed of that*) but it seemed to me theirattitude was like "We've got your money, we don't care" when it should have been "We should be reasonable so you come back here."

Anyway, I need to know if I'm full of shit before I tear a piece off someone at head office. Opinions?

tear them a new one! It expliciatly says exchanges. You asked for an exchange, they owe you one! Heck, I'd say tear them two if they have enough left over when you finish with them! (And thus I show my bloodthirsty side...)
