What? Where?

Since I've last been heard from, I've had a fabulous trip to Burlington and Boston to see briseur and quirkstreet, been sicker with flu than at any time in this millennium, and commited ungodly amounts of money to our upcoming renovation.

I have been happy with life, terminally depressed, stoic, giddy, tantruming and everywhere in between.

I have set myself a ridiculous but fun restriction on my current chapter.

I have put one foot in front of the other and only occassionally stumbled.

Meh. Surviving. I feel like the intergalactic tugboat that got trapped just at the edge of a black hole.

Most things in my life are going well.

Because we have several small streams of income, we have been "drifting down through my savings" instead of falling off a cliff when I was laid off at the end of February 2008.

But I still don't have a job, and am working on that.

It was a pleasure to be included in the warmth of your home for a weekend. Don't be dispirited by the job search. We all contribute in so many ways, but we let the financial contributions loom terribly large in our heads.
