Excursion!

Looks like I'm going on a trip.

Thursday Mar. 12, I take morning train to Cornwall Ontario where I pick up a rent-a-car and drive it to Burlington, VT to visit briseur.

I stay there until Saturday morning and Mikey (said briseur) and I get in the car and head for Boston to visit quirkstreet.

We stay until Monday p.m. (Tuesday a.m.?) and I do the trip in reverse.

The price of the train ticket is the same as the extra kilometers I'd have to put on the car, and I'll get to write for four hours in each direction.

So yay.

Have fun! I love train travel, although I've been traveling by bus lately because it's cheap.

How interesting. I wonder if we can find time to have a cuppa together. I'm staying in Somerville, but would like to get into Boston proper over the weekend.

Sounds like fun. I hope you have a good trip, and that VIA treats you better than they do every third trip I take with them. 1 in 3 is pretty bad odds for train delays/breakdowns. That being said, I *still* prefer the train to the bus...
