talktoolooseLife is definitely good these days, but January is more challenging than usual. I want to sleep all the time, aches and pains are more accute and Snake and I lose our temper with each other more easily.
We had a big fight before he went to work last Friday and we both spun into depression for a few hours. When he came home that afternoon he said, "I was thinking of not coming home at all!"
"Where would you have gone?" I asked.
He thought about it for a minute. "I dunno. Your parents' house?"
("I've left that bastard of a son of yours! What's for dinner?")
