It was miserably hot as I trudged through NYC a week ago and my backpack was very hot. Lately, I've been trying to decrease my knee pain (note stars) by improving my gait -- engaging my lateral abs and planting my foot cleanly instead of rolling. I was very serious and caught myself in a store window reflection looking stiff and determined.
At the Neue Gallery, I discovered the work of Egon Shiele which moved me mightily - especially his haunting, dark and humourous self-portraits.
