10 Odd Things About Me

1. I cannot scan lists of text or numbers or big grids of images in order. Somewhere around the 15% mark, my brain feels like it's going to explode and my eyes have to jump around the information randomly. It takes extreme and painful mental effort to go through the list in order.
   
2. I echo strange sounds I hear, especially mechanical sounds like clangs and screeches from vehicles or heavy machinery. If it goes "kkkrrrrannnng!", so do I.
   
3. There are certain people I can't seem to put into my head. I have to be introduced to them over and over again and then I still can't remember their names later and if you refer to them I cannot remember what they look like.
   
4. I regularly dream I have a full head of hair, often something nuts like a pompadour. When I'm awake, I don't really have any angst about being bald.
   
5. I sometimes look at my partner whom I've lived with for 18 years and say to myself, "what are you doing here?"
   
6. I think Flea is the hottest Chili Pepper.
   
7. I've never been much of a Punk fan, but the attitude of the Punk movement was essential for making me the man and the artist I am.
   
8. I sometimes look at my animals and think they're little people.
   
9. I like the smell of skunk from a distance.
   
10. I am afraid of individual bees but can walk through a swarm fairly comfortably.
