Healing, Heeling
Jun. 17th, 2005 11:02 amAck! Only about five hours of sleep last night as the pup had massive, horrible, stinky diarrhea that needed to be cleaned up not just once starting around 3:30 a.m.
Poor pup and poor us. So he's not eating until this evening when his food will be mostly white rice.
I finally gave up on the pretense of sleep at around 5:30 and went out to the backyard with the dog so Snake could get another hour of sleep before teaching. I then spent a fairly enjoyable hour rescuing our berry bushes and roses from various opportunistic weeds that were rising up to choke them out. This isn't the worst thing to do in the early morning hours and it brought me a lot of peace.
I'll have to crash for a couple of hours later but altogether I don't feel as sick as I did yesterday.
While on the subject of healing, please send out healthful vibes to
a_trick_mind whose blood is finally free of infection after several months in hosptial. He's still too weak to get up from his hospital bed and he has a lot of recovery left to do, but it seems the situation is less grave than it was. His boyfriend is a hero of epic proportions who has worked days and nursed nights to help his boy get better.
