talktoolooseToday was the first day that separated the true urban cyclists from the wannabes! I put on my longjohns under my pants, my balaclava under my helmet and my extra socks under my pathetic shoes which I have to replace soon. I would have changed my normal gloves for my extra cozy leather mittens, but they're stored in a suitcase in the basement where Snake has hidden my Christmas present and I'm not supposed to know about it (Looney Tunes Golden Collection 4 DVD set).
And other than cold hands and jolts from a front derailer that needs adjustment, the ride through the -8˚C on the snowy streets was beautiful, singing blues all the way.
