talktoolooseOne of my flist friends is struggling with a bad (possibly final) patch in her marriage. She is telling us as much as she wants, but it has to do with her spouse's infidelity. I don't presume to know any more details than she is telling.
What is pissing me off royally is some other chick on her flist who, armed only with this scant info is busy going "I would dump him, no questions asked." Also, "He didn't just cheat on you, he cheated on your child, too."
WTF? How dare you! You don't know what's happening, you are using your own life hurts to give ill-considered advice to someone who is in pain. You're so smart in your own little corner that you know that she should end the relationship which she has always described as loving with the father of her toddler. FUCK YOU!
He didn't cheat on the baby. He doesn't have a spousal relationship with the baby. Furthermore, in a world with absolutists like you in it, do you know how practically impossible it is for some men (or women, I'm sure) to speak openly about their desires or their frustrations?
If he is responsible for "cheating on his whole family" are you in any way responsible for encouraging that child growing up in a broken home?
