talktoolooseSnake's just headed off to the beach to study Japanese and bask in the sun. I'm staying home to record guitar on a song we're doing and to continue chapter 3 of the novel.
Then, as evening hits, there is an embarrassment of riches in free concerts. My plan is to stop briefly at Yonge/Dundas square in the hopes that Macy Gray is starting that evening's show. She's part of it, but the headliner is Chaka Khan. But, at 7:00, I have to meet Snake at Queen's Park where we'll try to get close to the Pride stage, first for Dragonette at 7:30, then for Cyndi Lauper at 9:00.
That is if the cops don't try to clear the park like they did last weekend...
Ha! I'm sure Cyndi could face down a line of black-suited cops in riot gear..
