I bought a pair of shoes on final sale last week. The bill clearly says, "No refunds, exchanges only". So, I brought them back saying, "Hi, I don't want these. I know you can't give me cash, so I'll buy some shirts or pants here instead." "No way, fucker," they said. "It's a final sale!"

That's bullshit, no? It should say, "No refund or exchanges" if that's what they mean. I went a little ballistic in the store (*I'm a bit of ashamed of that*) but it seemed to me theirattitude was like "We've got your money, we don't care" when it should have been "We should be reasonable so you come back here."

Anyway, I need to know if I'm full of shit before I tear a piece off someone at head office. Opinions?

No, I got nothing. They folded their arms and said they couldn't help me. I just phoned head office and got... an answering machine. I left a detailed message.

The bill fucking says, "No refunds, exchanges within 7 days."
