Standing Up, Pt. 2

Thanks for the words of encouragement on my post yesterday. I received an email back from my supervisor saying "We have made other arrangements."
Fine.
I feel nervous and rotten, like I've "let down the side" and there will be a price to pay, but I'm trying to breathe through that.
It was a negotiation. I made an offer, they found a cheaper way to go. End of story. I'll be at work Thursday, Friday, making the job as finished as possible for the guy whose picking it up on the weekend.
(related annoyance: the custom font of the Nazi client — literally, at one point in their history — doesn't pdf right, making proofs a nightmare).

But I know how you're feeling. I can't really say no to my boss either.
