Title: Days of Becoming, Chapter 11 - “Two Small Rooms, Part I”

Series Summary: This novel focusses mainly on the paths Iceman and Pyro take on their way to adulthood and how they discover and deal with their love for each other. It is a novel about what Joni Mitchell calls "the dream's malfunction" and how we can learn to make our own dreams when our heroes fail us. Other X characters and OC's play prominent roles and the action begins before X1, continues through the events of X2 and X3 and concludes in the aftermath of that movie.
Chapter Summary: Bobby's not sure whether to be jealous of Kitty and Lance until he's invited to share an experience with them which changes everything. St. John thinks he's found a home, but you can't be too careful.

Finally a new chapter! I have been so waiting for this. I've had to keep myself from commenting on all your unrelated posts in the last week, whining 'Where's the next chapter of DOB? Where? Where?'.

The wait was totally worth it, though. Brilliant chapter! The Bobby parts are fun and it's interesting to see the whole Lance/Kitty/Bobby triangle play out. Not to mention that our boy is finally getting some.
The John parts are breaking my heart. He is so ... vulnerable and he doesn't even fully realize it.

You are amazing, the character development is great as usual. I'm glad you show John's conditioning, automatically linking kindess with sexual favours. Also I love how the whole time he's getting in on with Bobby, Lance is describing how much Kitty turns him on, because it is so typical of someone who trying to convince themselves that they are not attracted to someone of the same gender.

I am in tears.

This chapter is incredible. What more can I ask for? There is weed, sex (sorta), and men jacking each other off. I have a question for you. Have you ever smoked pot before, because you described the effects with surprising accuracy (I have, many times, by the way).

Anyway... Where to start? John. My precious John. You are back! John is so vulnerable, and I just want to comfort him. Or better yet, I want Bobby to comfort him. But, hopefully, all in time. I love the character development of him. He's starting to become more fragile, yet still badass at heart.

Then there is the threesome, which was described perfectly. That is one of the hottest combinations ever. Way to go. And let's get something straight. Lance, while he does really like Kitty, was thinking of BOBBY during that scene. I refuse to believe otherwise. hehehe.

Over all, the chapter was beautiful. I hope to one day write a story as good as this one. I can't wait for the next chapter. Hopefully, I wont have to wait long.

Yeah, I've smoked up but not really all that often. The expression "to get faded" seems pretty accurate to me and I'm not that into being faded; I'm a sensation junkie. This is not in any way me trying to sound superior or whatever. I'm glad you have something that makes you feel good!

Actually, I prefer hash to weed but haven't done that much either. For the most part, I'm more like Logan: beeeeeeer!

Chapter 12 has been finished for a few weeks. It's with the betas and I'm going to nudge them to send it back soon. They're all really busy people but that goes with being bright, I guess.

I've started 13 and I now think I'm on a good trajectory with it. 13 and 14 go together like 11 and 12. Then everything changes...

Hi there, I've finally had time to sit down and read this all together and I must say it's totally blown me away! The chemistry that you created between Bobby and John during their breif encounter was incredible!
The threesome with Bobby/Kitty/Lance was hot! As was the Bobby/Lance, loved Lance talking about Kitty the whole time lol! Hee and the description of them all stoned was great, very realistic...not that I'd know *looks shifty*
And John, oh Johnny how I love you! He's so vunerable, not that he'd ever admit it. It's so sad how he's reached the point where he thinks all acts of kindness are in return for sex. I just want to take him home and look after him, or you know Bobby could.
This is an amazing story, I can't wait for the next chapter :D

Last week I also re-read from the beginning to get the sense of flow into Chapter 13. I'm finishing edits on 12 and working on 13 now. I'm in a good state of obsession for the rest of the book right now.

I'm really glad the Bobby/John chemistry worked for you because that little taste has had to last them a lonnnnnnng time. Despite all the turmoil they're going through individually, they somehow can't forget those brief hours spent together.

Ch. 12 should be up within a few days.
