California, 1912. Five Chinamen have killed each other in an opium deal gone bad. A young, charismatic preacher finds the drug money -- $3,000 in a leather satchel -- and takes it to build his church.
The drug lords send a killer after him -- a misanthropic oil man who uses drilling equimpment to kill his targets.
