Happy Moment

Though the work on this book never seems to end (and it must in less than two weeks), I have been enjoying a thorny layout problem this morning and am really happy with the solution. I love graphic design sometimes!

Also, my puppy is lying quietly on the floor with his warm, heavy head on my foot. Oh, he's asleep now. Be vewwy, vewwy quiet.

I'm listening to the happiest album, too: The Art Deco collection of Josephine Baker recordings from the 1920s. I want some great deus ex machina to whisk me off to Paris, 1927 so I can see her at the folies bergères. Ah, me!
