Back to the Daily Drain

Power started coming back on to some parts of Toronto on Friday morning, but we only got ours at 1:30 last night after 33 hours in the dark.

My feelings were mixed about the return to normalcy. I had a wonderful day on the back porch yesterday drawing with pencil and ink and I like candles, dammit! Everywhere was peace and quiet and a sense of adventure.

Ahh, well. I'll update more on the subject later.
