Metro Morning's discomfort with discussing global warming seems to be making a subtle shift. In the past, news of warm winter days would have been openly greeted with joy. Now there is still something chipper in the voice, but they are wary enough not to actually say something positive.
So, while we all slide into the ocean like Antarctic ice, here's a list of acquistions over the holidays:

- The Comics Journal library edition of Jack Kirby featuring cranky interviews galore
- A boffo pair of all cotton sweat pants
- Bialetti Kona stovetop espresso maker
