Summary: Bobby deals with a broken heart as his 16th birthday comes around. Things take a turn for the better when a new student arrives at the mansion but then bad news strikes for the mutants of America.
Betas: kuriadalmatia and lux_apollo. I tend to bounce, hop and act foolish like Bobby. My brilliant betas keep me focused.

OH MY GOD!!!!

This is the best fan fiction I have ever read. PLEASE write more. I am begging you. Anyway, keep up the good work. Try to get some more Pyro and Iceman flirting. Your story about Pyro is amazing.

Thanks so much, Chris. More is on the way. Chapter 8 is written but needs some work and I've begun 9. I'm trying to shorten the gaps between chapters which have been as long as two months. I'm aiming for a month instead.

When Kitty was telling Bobby about the comparison between her homelife and the Anne Frank book; i thought she was going to compare it to them being safe in the school until "they" come for them (which did happen in one of the movies).I was disappointed when you mentioned Bobby had been going back to the Tuesday support group and didn't bump into John and save him by bringing him back to the school. But since you took the opportunity to bring in Kitty and she asked to go with him; maybe that possibility still exists. Bobby's emotions seem to be going all over the place; i found it funny when he said the girls at his school acted that way and he said guys just grunt. He was being a total drama queen over discovering Scott had Jean and he never could. The story is still very compelling. It can't be easy writing such a long story and still keep it interesting. Thanks Again for sharing.

I know I'm really demanding patience from my readers in terms of Bobby and John meeting. It's unfolding the way I feel it must. Besides, there are any number of fics out there where they're together from the get-go, so I'm glad to offer something different.

I've been sitting here editing Chapter 11 which should be posted tomorrow.
