And I don't even play ukelele.
OMGZ, we finished the roof. It took days! And it's only a small roof! How do the pros do it? Answer: experience, teams of seven, power tools and days and days anyway. That's how.
But I feel so fucking strong. GRRRRRR. it's awesome. I'm hungry all the time and I eat without guilt. Because I'm a fucking labourer!!
We finished around 4:15 today in advance of the edge of Ernesto reaching us tonight. We'll see how waterproof we are.
Now I'm doing a final bit of editing for the bar mitzvah video and in a minute we're heading uptown for an immediate family get together which has set my sister and mother into their typical power dance again. Great fun. Tomorrow is all day Judaism with lots of eating. The video will be shown at the party tomorrow p.m.
Sunday I collapse. (and write fic, I hope) (and phone lots of people who I owe calls to).
