This is not meant as pressure to kuriadalmatia or mofic!!!

But, the hardest thing in the world is waiting for feedback on a work of art! I'm checking e-mail every 15 minutes to see if either of them has sent back chapter 3 of Days of Becoming yet.

Speaking of which, I elected not to go to the Toronto Comics Con this weekend with photocopies of my comic. I'm not in a schmoozy headspace and my art ego defences are a little depowered at the moment. This was a good decision to make. Instead, I went to the Beguiling and bought volume 2 of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

I'm going to buy Everything Is Illuminated to read on the plane this Thursday. We are going to pre-pack today to make sure we have everything and only everything we need for Turkey. Thrills and Chills, boys and girls. And furthermore, we can hang laundry in the back yard today as it is so beautiful! This means winter is officially over.

It's not the cool one we went to last year. That's TCAF and only happens every other year. This is the big one where it's mostly superheroes. But there's a solid little indie row there, too, including Bryan Lee O'Malley (Scott Pilgrim!) and his wife Hope Larson who has a gorgeous new book too.

I'm sorry! I really did mean to read and comment today, but RL intervened. I had demanding kids demanding things all day. Doran has a tux rental for prom now, Kendra's paper due on Monday is written so she can go to the Darfur rally tomorrow, and Zara has music on her mp3 player (which she got for her birthday two weeks ago and I'm only now getting around to figure out how it works). And we have food and such for the long ride to DC tomorrow. We're leaving at 6:00 and coming back at 10:00 at night, so I won't likely read it tomorrow either. I know this isn't helping with your goal to finish before you leave for Turkey. ::hangs my head::

I finally did it, but yahoo is giving me trouble with attachments today. Can you attach files to lj comments? Any other ideas on how to get it to you? Maybe it doesn't matter since you're leaving for Turkey and won't likely have time to review the comments before you go. I will try again later, but I've tried a few times in the past hour and the attachment feature just times out on me. ::is frustrated::
