Arrive Thursday March 23, 2 pm
- kill time downtown but what will I do with my bags? I guess I could go to a museum and check them while I wander.
- eat dinner somewhere. Maybe that place [livejournal.com profile] allourapus is always suggesting. It's in an old LJ entry somewhere...
- meet my sister at the theatre to see Sweeney Todd (Crap! I'm excited)
- go back to Long Island with her

Friday
- I dunno. Probably MOMA for part of the day since I haven't seen the new building and wandering for the rest of it.
- Shabbas dinner with my sister's family

Saturday
- Brunch with [livejournal.com profile] mofic whom I am really looking forward to meeting.
- the rest of the day is a fat question mark. Any suggestions?

Sunday
- My cousin's 80th birthday party in the afternoon. Hanging with family the rest of the day probably. See how many free meals I can get out of it (lol, I still think like the baby of the family!)

Monday
- flight at 3. Might just hang with sister in the morning unless she's teaching. Again, if it weren't for the bags question, I could go into town early and wander more (my fave Manhattan activity).

The solution seems to be to pack incredibly light.

I totally wish I'd used one of the those damn wheelie things when I went down there. I had a large over-the-shoulder bag, and I was like totally "ow ow ow" by the end of the second day. There's gotta be a place downtown somewhere where you can check your bags for the day. If not I should open one and LET THE CASH FLOW IN.

MoMA is pretty good right now - I just about creamed myself in the design/architecture gallery. There is an awesome gallery of etchings - a whole series of ones with a drawn version of Exquisite Cadaver which were FANTASTIC. Also, there was this really cool motion-activated sound thing... and there was this thing! and this other thing! and it was rad! and and and ohmanohmanohman I loves me some modern art, I don't care what anyone says.

If it's any help, you can stash stuff at my place. Of course, I can't figure out how that could be any help, but I'm offering anyway.

That's one scary anteater!

Are you located anywhere near the airport? I can't really figure out how it would help either, but it's a nice offer.

I've just done edits on Chapter 2. The arc is now called Days of Becoming.

"Bright red fry mash" referred to the ketchup soaked semi-disintegrated fries on Paul's plate. Maybe I'll changed it to "ketchup-fry mash" thought that doesn't have the rhythm.

Why does everybody say that? I think it's so cute! Do you like capybaras better? World's largest rodent.

I'm not really near any of the airports. Closest to LGA, I guess.

I don't know that I would have gotten "ketchup fry mash" either. Looking forward to seeing the final of Chapter 2. And, I hope, Chapter 3 in the near future.

I love capybaras!

Here's a happy corgi in return.
