Coalition Code
Dec. 2nd, 2008 09:42 amI was enjoying the differences in the headlines on the coalition in the different papers this morning. The best was from the National Post, the one organ of Conrad Black that's not currently in jail:
"NDP, Separtists Join Dion to Topple Tories"
Lovely! The NDP were the only one of the three coalition parties not to have their name changed into something more inflamatory. Why bother? They're the NDP. The want to take your money away. 'Nuff said!
The Bloc Québecois just became "The Separtists" and the Liberals were reduced to the leader that was, in popular interpretation, the "one we voted against in October!"
GO COALITION! WELCOME PRIME MINISTER DION.
Word to the Governor General: we don't want another election. Word to the coalition partners, play nice and keep it going for at least a year, please.
