Series Summary: This novel focuses mainly on the paths Iceman and Pyro take on their way to adulthood and how they discover and deal with their love for each other. It is a novel about what Joni Mitchell calls "the dream's malfunction" and how we can learn to make our own dreams when our heroes fail us. Other X characters (including ones from comicverse and elsewhere) and OC's play prominent roles and the action begins before X1, continues through the events of X2 and X3 and concludes in the aftermath of that movie.

Previously in Days of Becoming: Everyone has found their way to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters: Bobby Drake from his safe home in Boston, John Allerdyce from the streets of New York City where he was a runaway and a hustler... all the other mutants kids along the paths of their own destinies. And now Mike Haddad and Jubilation Lee have arrived, having survived a run-in with anti-mutant vigilantes. The mansion is a refuge, but within its walls, passions are raging, doubts emerging.

Excellent chapter. The pace, in particular, was interesting: the previous chapters have followed a fairly slow, moment-by-moment schematic, adding to the sense that in this chapter the events of the story are rapidly picking up speed (in some cases, moving too quickly for comfort for the characters, as with the sudden exposure for Bobby).

Oh. My. God! Awesome chapter! I was wondering when Scott would find out - but like that? Poor Bobby. Although Bobby is such an idiot. And poor John - "it wasn't anything"? :(. And I think I just realised where in the story you are (I have a feeling I won't like Rogue that much in this story - not until a certain someone realises his feelings for a certain fire mutant. Although I could be completely wrong with the timeline). Please update soon?

Oh. My. God. I can't believe everything is happening so quickly. Realizing that we've reached the first movie has been a huge thrill.
May I ask how much time this fic is going to cover? Are you going to stop with the end of the third movie, or are you going to give them a different ending? Anyway, I can't wait for more.

Btw, I think I found a typo: “But that in the hamper when you’re done,” - it should be 'put', shouldn't it?

Oh hi. Finally get to read the latest chapter and dear Jesus it is good. I think it's your most loaded yet and there is way too much for me to comment on it all. I love that John is the romantic one and extremely sentimental and just when it seems that he might get Bobby to admit everything is slowly falls apart-a bit sadistic of me but eh.

So dude you are awesome and a wicked writer.
