Jun. 10th, 2007 10:03 amIf you haven't yet discovered CBC Radio 3 you are missing a wonder of the world -- non-stop Canadian indie music in every genre. I've just gone from canoe-folk to death metal to soul to folk-rock to hip-hop in 30 minutes. And every selection links you to the bands website or myspace page.
This latter functionality led me to think that Henri Faberge and the Adorables were even more avant garde than they are. I was still listening to their song "Ella" when I called up the myspace page and, without realizing it, started getting other songs layered on the one I was already listening to. It was really hip until I realized I was dumb.
Anyway, add some classical music and this would be my ideal format. No talk, no themed shows. Just wild and weird music.
