There should be a story about someone who's persecuted because he uses the online name "boilover". He means for it to be read "boil over" but authorities think he means "boi lover".

There should be such a story. The more elaborate the better. 500 pages should be the minimum length for a novel created merely to serve a pun.

I am not aware of this usage. I only know "boi" as cute flirty spelling of "boy" in cruising circles. Interesting.
