Pic Bitch!

Why is LJ being a bitch? I found an animated gif that I liked. I opened it in ImageReady CS, reduced the image size so it was 99X92 pixels, saved it again and tried to upload it as a new LJ userpic.

I repeatedly got the message that I could not upload it because it was bigger than 100X100.

Anybody have any ideas?

It might be telling you that it's actually bigger than 130k or whatever the limit is, but it's not telling you properly, or it's erroring. LJ has an icon maker now; I don't know if it works for gifs, or animated ones.

In other news you have to come over tonight! I got some stuff I want to show you before I pack it. :)

Sometimes, even if the size is 100x100 or less it'll deny it if the file is too large. At least that's my theory sinc eI've had the same problem in the past.
