Just So You Know

Snake just took a half-day supply teaching job around the corner and I am at home. I now have two hours to get lots of important work done before he comes home and we have to finish putting up the new fan/light in the kitchen. Yesterday was hell on a ladder: taking down the old fixture, tearing into lath and plaster to put a strong enough electrical box in the ceiling to support a heavy fan/light, installing a medallion to cover the hole in the ceiling and refinishing the popcorn ceiling around the whole shebang.

Today, holding a heavy ass fixture in the air while trying to twist tiny pieces of wire together in a one-inch space with no light.
