I'm under the knife tomorrow, having a piece of my miniscus removed so that my knee will work again as it should.

I was worried about the operatoin, but I'm less so now and it should be a straightforward procedure. I'll try to get a post up on Saturday to let you all know how it went and how my recovery is going. Until then, I think I'll stay off the computer.

Strangely enough, I calmed down a bit this morning when I realized there was nothing I actually had to DO tomorrow but show up. It's a good thing I'll be asleep, because I'm such a control freak I'd probably try to grab the scope from the surgeon.

Also, DON'T FEED HIM AFTER MIDNIGHT! Is it true I can't even rinse my mouth in the morning? Even if I don't swallow? (Shut up.)

I am exhausted, having been out cavorting last night and having just finished a three-day marathon at work programming and implementing a new design for online press releases. I learned a lot of good coding and I'm really proud of the results, but it's been tough.

I'm off to the video store to rent a bunch of flicks to recover by and I need a new rubber top for one of my crutches.

Also, I've just booked my flight to NYC for March 23-27. mofic, let's meet! I'm busy Thursday night and Sunday afternoon, but other than that, my schedule is open.

I'm bubbling with ideas for the second chapter of my fic and the first should be published by early next week. Life is good.

Still don't know if I'll sleep tonight...

You can rinse your mouth, just don't swallow. I ended up doing this several times before a recent procedure.

Good luck with the surgury! Just think of how wonderful it'll be to be walking around (soon enough) without pain or hinderance(you can run with crutchs, I've done it, but I don't recommend it...)!

I think you can rinse your mouth out in the morning, so long as you don't sallow. I think they recommend against it because you can be so thirsty that you decide to swallow anyway.

I'll keep my eye out for that fan fic...Will it be posted anywhere where I could read it?

Now that's a good friend- willing to go under the knife to distract their friend's mind. *laughs* But, it works both ways too, ay? I keep the drama in my life on high to distract you from your health problem and other stressers. ;P

I plan to try to read that fanfic tonight. I'll let you know what I think. But then again, don't I usualy?
