Oct. 23rd, 2009 12:27 pmYou know, every time my brother says "Hey, guess what... I can actually meet you for lunch tomorrow," I know in my heart of hearts that it will not happen. He always lets me down.
And yet, every time he does, it still hurts. Like today. "Oh, hi, yeah, I thought that might be you. Listen, TTL, sorry... these forms are taking a lot longer to do than I figured and I won't be able to make it, blah blah blah..."
He doesn't mean to do be unreliable; he just has no ability to plan his time and, like it or not, I am the lowest priority for him since failing me won't get him divorced or fired.
