This is fucking retarded!!!

I do not need a PDA, it will not make my life better. I am only obsessing about it because I can't get down to drawing my collage! It makes no freaking sense.

But I want it! What the fuck is wrong is me?

(It's a Palm T/X, btw.)

I am also devastated (note overwrought terminology) that Canada Computers had refurbished ones for $229 a couple of weeks ago. That's INSANE! And they vanished in no time. The ones listed as still being in stock at various locations are, in fact, not in stock.

Thanks Internet. I hate you.

It makes some sense... I empathize with you on this one.

Have you seen this essay? The concepts in it help me sometimes.

Interesting. thanks for the link.

I'm still procrastinating on the whole thing and my avoidances are getting more and more grotesque and baroque and other words that end in "que" no doubt.

*hugs you*

Honey, I understand all too well. I have a PDA I open every other week, if that. I was supposed to get rid of paper and the PDA was supposed to solve all of my problems. And of course it didn't. But heaven forbid I lose my PDA, I would be an inconsolable mess until my iPod started up.

You're not helping me with my nonsensical justification process!

Heh. I know i don't need it, but I so imagine using it. I've been downloading ebook torrents and I love the idea of reading on the subway off the palm.

*sigh*

Your points are good ones, though.

I love my PDA. I can write my novel on it anywhere and I can surf the Net in any cafe in rainy couver. it keeps me going to mindless meetings at work and makes sure I dont forget my will cal codes to Margaret Cho. It beeps at me day and night to keep my anxious and alert about upcoming trivial events like a timid rabbit. it is my lonely companion on my trips alone to Victoria and since I am too cheap to buy a laptop, the keyboard attachment is lovely. My Palm Pilot Tungsten E2 does everything but jerk me off; and when such a model comes out it will prob improve my sex life from the pathetically empty otaku existence I have now...

*sigh*

I want it so bad and haven't quite convinced myself. I have downloaded torr3nts of 1000s of books bundled that can be read on the palm. That is one of things I really want it for -- a nice portable ebook reader.

It's pretty cool, but the one I want I can't find cheaper than $339 and then I still have to buy the keyboard and, ideally, more memory than the 128 mb it comes with (though that isn't bad for a start -- a little skimpy if I want it to be my mp3 player).
