Music for Reluctant Gamers
I bought a CD a few months ago that I quickly became obsessed with: He Poos Clouds by Final Fantasy.
Final Fantasy is a Toronto musician named Owen Pallet who has been busy doing string arrangements for and playing with Canadian bands including the Arcade Fire. This is his second solo thing and it's brilliant. All strings, pianos and harpsichords with tasty semi-abstract lyrics. Faggy as all get-out.
Apparently the songs on the album somehow represent aspects of D&D which I don't get. He's not really a gamer but loves reading support documents like the D&D handbooks. Altogether individual.
Here's the title track.
I'm sick today and should rest a lot. But I also have a backlog off posts I want to make. Let's see if any of that happens.

Boy kicks so much butt - he's been a good buddy of mine since I was in high school. Totally read through some of his other crits if you have the notion.
