Not Perfect

I'm feeling kind of vulnerable and gross and therefore I'm not updating. I have become convinced that everything that is wrong in the world! is probably my fault. I'm not sure why I'm slipping into this unreasonable world where guilt rules supreme but I'm struggling to find the exit.

Rather than blather on ("Father, I'd rather blather than further weather these waters!" "Have a Werther's, son."), I will share my improvement to a verse of Fernand that's been bugging me:

What can I say, we drive at dawn
On a day when I would sleep till noon
What can I say about the town at dawn?
We might as well be on the moon

Happier tomorrows.

By the way, your new icon is brilliant.

Merci. The week is improving as it nears its end.

And here's some Swedish for you:

Älska mig alltid

Lämna mig aldrig

Hee hee...what the hell does that mean? ;-)

Always love me. Never leave me.

It's from the opening song on Frida's (of ABBA fame) album, Djupa Andertaag. Yes, my bf is such an ABBA fan he buys the band members' Swedish albums. Actually, it's a remarkable album and the production is really inspirational to me.

that's pretty cool then....I have a CD of Swedish classical music, and I quite enjoy it. I would like to think that what they are saying is so beautiful, that I wasn't meant to understand it quite just yet ;-)

*hugz*

Oh but I am back home now. I won't return to toronto for a couple of weeks. Which displeases me mightily.
