As we watched the horrific and sad discovery of the girl's body in Mystic River last night, we heard above the soundtrack a clicking, grinding, chewing noise that was particularly unsettling beside the onscreen imagery. Investigation showed that Gougou had figured how to chew the plastic eyes and nose out of his little purple teddy bear.
